Firefox in my opinion is the best web browser to use for surfing the internet
Firstly getting the menu bar and the Bookmarks Toolbar showing is always a good idea
Right click at the side of the + sign like on the image below and tick both of those options
Then set up your homepage
Tools / Options / Then as in the images below
Mine is set to Google
Then add ons the only one I believe you need is Adblock Plus
In the top right hand side search for Adblock Plus and then click on it and add to firefox see images below
But there’s so many other useful ones
If you ever get a problem with Firefox you can simply click on the Help at the top and then select Troubleshooting Information
From there you can Refresh Firefox
After doing this you’ll need to as above to setup menu bar bookmark toolbar and adblock plus
Updating Firefox is safe to do so when it offers an update you can do it with confidence
