I’ve just signed up to the new Telstra Air and will be updating this blog on my findings
It sounds like a great way to have internet on the go
I have a 4G wifi that I use at this time but I’m hoping to be able to stop this service if Telstra Air is a success
Telstra Air is available at phone boxes throughout Australia

Connect to Telstra Air
Once you’ve become a member of Telstra Air, you can get online using your Telstra home broadband allowance when you’re out and about, using your Wi-Fi enabled laptop, tablet or smartphone.
Don’t forget to download the Telstra Air App so that you’ll be able to automatically connect to your nearest Telstra Air hotspot in Australia or Fon Spot when you’re travelling overseas.
Overseas you can still use your own Internet
Fon is a global Wi-Fi network, and we’re their exclusive Australian partner. Like Telstra Air, Fon members share a bit of their home Wi-Fi, and in turn, get access at millions of Fon Spots in countries like the UK, Japan, Germany, South Africa and France.

New Router
My new router arrived today which was very quick delivery from Telstra
I installed the router fine but it took a bit longer than I expected to get the internet back online
I was on the phone with Telstra and I was going to change to back to my old router when It came good
Setup my wifi added my own wifi keys and ready for action
I searched for hotspots while waiting for my son at school but none to be found which was a shame
I guess it’s going to take time
I’ll add more info of my findings soon…
